• Email address
• Billing and shipping address (if provided)
• Product purchased and purchase date
• Payment method type (not the card number itself—Lemon Squeezy handles that)

This information is collected and stored by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record.

Email Correspondence

When you contact us at support@bytellpress.com with questions or support requests, we retain your email address and the content of your message to respond to you and keep records of our communication.

Newsletter and Marketing Email

If you consent to receive marketing or lifecycle emails from us (such as product updates or new bundle announcements), we collect and use your email address for that purpose. We will not add you to marketing emails without your explicit opt-in. You can opt out at any time with a single click in any marketing email we send.

Download Links and Access

When you download a product, we track that you accessed your download link so we can honor your 30-day re-issuance window and your lifetime access-on-request guarantee. This helps us provide customer service.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• No credit card data. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles all payment card data. We never see, store, or process your card number.
• No user accounts. We do not create accounts, store login credentials, or build profiles beyond order history.
• No advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or other third-party ad-serving trackers on our site.
• No analytics cookies. We do not set analytics cookies on our site. The static hosting provider may set minimal cookies for infrastructure purposes, but we do not track your browsing behavior.
• No persistent tracking. We do not use cookies or similar technologies to follow you across the web.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for these purposes only:

1. Processing your order — to deliver your purchase, issue your download link, and honor your 30-day re-access window.
2. Providing customer service — to respond to your questions, process refund requests, and resolve issues.
3. Sending transactional email — to confirm your purchase, send your download link, and provide receipt information via Lemon Squeezy.
4. Sending marketing email — only if you opt in, to notify you of new products, updates, or promotions. You can opt out at any time.
5. Complying with tax and legal obligations — to maintain records required for accounting, tax reporting, and legal compliance.

We will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third Parties Who Access Your Data

The following parties may have access to your information as necessary to provide services:

• Lemon Squeezy — Our payment processor and merchant of record. They process all payments, handle sales tax and VAT, and receive your order information as part of checkout. See their privacy policy for details.
• MailerLite (if you opt in) — Our email marketing provider, which stores your email address if you consent to receive marketing email. You control this with a single opt-out link in any message.
• Google Workspace — We use Gmail for our support email correspondence. Any email you send to support@bytellpress.com is stored in Google Workspace.

We do not share your data with other third parties except as required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Order records — We retain order information (name, email, address, purchase date, product, amount) as long as required for tax and accounting compliance, typically 7 years.
• Email correspondence — We retain support emails and your messages for the lifetime of the business relationship and as needed for legal/tax records.
• Marketing email lists — We retain your email address in our marketing list until you unsubscribe.
• Download history — We retain your download history to honor your 30-day re-access window and lifetime re-request guarantee.

If you wish to request deletion of your contact data (name, email, address), please email support@bytellpress.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We will delete your information from our marketing email list and support records within 30 days, while retaining what is legally required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Opt-out of marketing — Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time with a single click, or request a manual do-not-contact via support@bytellpress.com.

International Buyers

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws (such as GDPR), you have the same rights above. We honor GDPR rights-of-access, correction, and deletion on request. For residents of these regions, we process your data on the legal basis of fulfilling your purchase and your consent to marketing email. Contact support@bytellpress.com to exercise any of these rights.

Children’s Privacy

Our products are designed for business owners and entrepreneurs, not children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided us with information should contact support@bytellpress.com.
